Check out the projects we've been working on!

Loretto Heights Redevelopment

The Loretto Heights Redevelopment project involved the transformation of a century-old college campus into a revitalized mixed-use neighborhood within the City of Denver. The scope of work included the demolition of an existing dormitory and multi-use facility, followed by comprehensive site improvements encompassing grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water distribution, and roadway infrastructure.

Given the presence of several historic structures, both along the project perimeter and within the interior of the site, existing conditions required careful preservation throughout construction. Our team collaborated closely with the general contractor to continuously monitor site progress and develop responsive action plans as changes in existing conditions were encountered.

This project also necessitated a tailored approach to right-of-way acceptance. We were able to work with the owner, contractor, and city to establish a phased acceptance process — ensuring that certificates of occupancy for adjacent structures were not delayed as a result of the overall project timeline.

Lake Bluff Subdivision Phase 1

This project included mass grading, wet utilities, three water quality ponds, a pump house, widening of West 10th Street and roadway infrastructure. The project also included offsite sanitary and water provided to the site. This project took place concurrently with multiple developments by Meritage Homes and Taylor Morrison.

Silverbluff Companies served as the construction manager and owner’s representative, starting out on this project from design review, to bidding, and construction through project closeout. The project was completed on time prior to requirements from neighboring developments for certificates of occupancy.

Dawson Trails Boulevard

The Dawson Trails Boulevard project was a project contracted by the Town of Castle Rock to replace the existing I-25 Frontage Rd with Dawson Trails Blvd, serving as the new frontage road. The project included approximately 2 miles of new roadway 765 LF of cast-in-place box culverts, and 3 water quality ponds.

This project took place concurrently with the adjacent Crystal Valley Interchange project to the north and the Douglas County portion of Dawson Trails Blvd. to the south, and the Dawson Trails Development to the east and west of the project.

Silverbluff Companies was the construction manager for the Town of Castle Rock, taking this project from bidding through project closeout. The original project scope included two-lane construction of Dawson Trails Blvd, but we were able to work with the Town of Castle Rock and the Dawson Trails Metropolitan District to construct the ultimate four-lane build out of Dawson Trails Blvd. at no additional cost to the Town of Castle Rock. This value engineering solution allowed for the metropolitan district to save costs on demolition, traffic control, and other rework while the Town of Castle Rock avoided months of delays for traffic control on the main thoroughfare connecting the Crystal Valley Parkway Interchange and the Tomah Road on the west side of I-25.
